About

Cargo Bike are the Future! Farr Out Deliveries are riding that future wave. We are a collective of individuals who share an ideal. That ideal has brought our helmets together to try and do something good for our city.

Our mission is to establish cargo bikes as the most viable choice for inner city logistics. Our bikes make us quicker, cheaper and more efficient than traditional alternatives. We do all this while also being good for the environment and paying our riders a living wage.
We love Edinburgh and want to see it thrive.

We offer B2c, and B2B services, as well as peer to peer. For many local food and drink businesses we have managed to significantly reduce, or completely replace their reliance on Vans for Edinburgh transport and deliveries. We currently delivery for Bakers, Roasters, Brewers, Distillers, Fermenters, Butchers, Grocers – you name it! Find out more here.

If you think cargo bike might be for you, we are also happy to advise on making Cargo bikes a part of your business.

Commitment to sustainability

We are by definition a sustainable business. Everything we do is to reduce carbon emissions in Edinburgh.

We deliberately work with clients who share our ideals, who use local suppliers, take food and packaging waste seriously and use local where ever possible.

Our sister organisation Cargo Bike Movement also work with Cargo Bikes to redistribute surplus food with the Shrub Co-op and Street Work.

We also make an effort to promote our clients to each-other and within our network.

We’re achieving these goals

  • Actively working to reduce carbon emissions
  • Reducing food waste
  • Reducing plastic packaging
  • Social Business Model (Social Enterprise, Community owned, Coop)
  • Using electric vehicles or cargo bikes for shop and customer deliveries
  • Using local suppliers
