Edinburgh wins Sustainable Food Cities Bronze Award

13th June 2019 by Fiona Macleod
Award Conference

We are very excited to announce that Edible Edinburgh has  achieved the Sustainable Food Cities Bronze Award. The award recognises and celebrates the success of towns and cities taking a joined up, holistic approach to food and who are achieving significant positive change on a range of food issues.

A lot of hard work has gone in to achieving this award and we would like to thank everyone involved in the partnership for their dedication and work over the last two years. We would also like to thank all the organisations, community groups and individuals who give their time and energy to promoting healthy, local and sustainable food and growing in the city.

The award was presented  at the annual Sustainable Food Cities Conference, which this year is being held in Newcastle today (13 June).
