The 2018 Food Gathering brings together community-led organisations from all over Scotland who are working to reduce emissions in their local area by encouraging the production and consumption of local food and reducing food waste.

Keep Scotland Beautiful invites community-led organisations who are actively involved, or interested in, taking action on climate change in their communities through food, to what should be an interesting and inspiring day. The event has been organised as part of the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund.

The day will be an opportunity for you to learn about and discuss the challenges and opportunities for Scotland’s communities to reduce their carbon emissions, with particular reference to the Scottish Government’s Climate Change Plan and the new targets set out in Scotland’s new Climate Change Bill.
