Garden group picOur wonderful Edible Edinburgh Chair, Councillor Lesley Hinds, will be launching our Charters and this new website at Milton Road Community Garden this Saturday between 12-1pm, as part of the Power of Food Festival. Come along for delicious nibbles and a chinwag about food in our city. Emma Witney, our Project Officer, will be there too and we’d love you to sign out Charter. There are also some great activity in the garden that day, including storytelling and a gardening workshop. Have a look at the Power of Food Festival website for details. You could even arrive by bike on the guided Sustrans bike ride that is touring the food festival sites. If you do, the ride is scheduled to arrive just in time for our launch and to eat some of the free buffet we are laying on for you, which will be made using tasty local ingredients and hopefully some herbs and salad from the garden! We hope to see you there!
